Doesn’t get absorbed onto the skin instantly.Ģ. Neither sting nor breakout on the skin the next day after usage.ġ. Leaves skin feeling smooth and supple when the emulsion is fully absorbed onto the skin.Ĥ. Smelled herbal like any other Kose Sekkisei range of products.ģ. Brightened skin complexion within weeks after usage.Ģ. So, here’s what I think of Kose Sekkisei Emulsion in a nutshell:ġ. For those of you who don’t have oily combination skin like mine, this product may be good on your skin as the texture may not be too heavy for normal skin. But it’s the absorption rate that puts me off. If I were to decide whether to repurchase this product or not, I don’t think I would be getting myself another bottle. It doesn’t leave me with any breakout the next day after usage. Fortunately for me, the product doesn’t seem to be harsh on my skin at all. In terms of the scent, it smelled similar like any other Kose Sekkisei range with a light hint of alcohol scent to me. Within weeks after I started using Kose Sekkisei Emulsion, I could see that my skin complexion brightened up a lot. But it gets absorbed and dried up like within a minute after application and leaving your skin feeling smooth and supple. Once you had applied the emulsion onto your face, you could see that your face is looking a bit wet and oily at the same time. For those of you who has an oily combination skin like mine may not like this emulsion at first because it leaves a sticky and oily feeling after application before it gets fully absorbed a white later. But I could definitely claim that it’s not like what’s portrayed in the above picture. The texture of Kose Sekkisei Emulsion may have looked lightweight and watery in the above picture. Inhibits melanin production and prevents freckles, dark spots and dry rough skin caused by UV rays.įormulated with Moisture Balance Polymer (developed by Kose) to maintain the skin’s moisture-retaining balance against ambient air.įortified with extracts of Inula Britanica Flower, Chinese Pearl Barley, Paeonia Albiflora Root, Melothria Heterophylla and Angelica for highly translucent skin. Heavyweight serum with high emollient effects that works deep into skin without any stick after-feel. I got this with Kose Sekkisei White Liquid Wash and Kose Sekkisei Lotion in a trial pack for S$88, if I am not wrong. As far as I know, Kose doesn’t sell Kose Sekkisei Emulsion in the size of 70ml individually. I got mine from the duty free shop at Singapore Changi International Airport last May. The standard size of Kose Sekkisei Emulsion is 140ml but the one which I am about to review is in 70ml size. I started my first Kose product with Kose Sekkisei Lotion and fell head over heel in love with it on my first usage and I am currently on my second bottle, going on to the third bottle soon. So, I decided to switch to Kose Sekkisei range instead after hearing so many raves and feedback about the said brand and range. But after being an avid Shiseido user for the past 3 years, I realized that some of Shiseido products don’t seem to work wonder on my skin anymore compared to before. If you had been following my blog since the beginning, you would have known that I used to be a huge fan of Shiseido products. I started switching my entire skincare product set to Kose like about half a year ago. I just wanted to clear the sample sized products that I am having at the moment. Albeit not been using it lately doesn’t necessarily means the product is no good compared to the above two. A moisturizer which I had been using religiously for some time before Biotherm Aquasource 24h Deep Hydration Replenishing Gel and Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief came into the scene. At least, it’s better than coming home empty handed.Īnyways, I will be doing a skincare product review on Kose Sekkisei Emulsion today. *sigh* She only managed to get me the Longchamp Planetes Tote that I wanted. But it turned out the alternative was not available as well. How unlucky could I be? I gave her an alternative product if the first priority product is not available. Prada outlet in London doesn’t have the stock of any of the Prada products which I wanted. Sister Whatsapp-ed me early in the morning bearing the bad news.
